For this collection I have collaborated with one of my brothers. For months I was unsuccessful in finding a matching print for my collection, until I decided to just make them myself. This is how he got to draw / design the prints for the kimono and the linen dress and I am more than happy with the result!
Materials being used: organic cotton, Belgium linen, tencel (NEW), and wool which I bought from the Swiss military! I have also been working with a Création Baumann textile; from this I made the shiny coat / raincoat (not waterproof!).
Furthermore, I have had the privilege to work with the lovely jewelry designer Marie from La troisième! Her beautifully handcrafted pieces added elegance and accomplishment to each outfit. They can be admired on her website and on markets in Biel & Neuchâtel.
The collection was planned to be shown at the DESIGNGUT in Winterthur from the 29th of October to the 1st of November 2020. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, the event has been cancelled. However, the current collection can be tried on at my workshop!
